17 Things I Want To Do In 2023 – Week 2 of 52

Go On A Solo Adventure.

It was so much fun to read about where everyone wanted to travel to if they were going to go on a solo adventure. And also super funny that someone got pretty close to where I’ll be headed soon. 😉

Take An Adult Education Class.

I still have no idea about this one. Maybe something artsy or maybe something like a cooking class. It would be fun though to do something totally out of the box though.

Revisit An Old Friend.

Working on it!

Bunny card by Etsy seller: KraftStreetPaperCo

Send 52 Cards To 52 Different People.

I think I’ll start with Valentines.

Make 12 Totally British Recipes In The AGA.

This of course is if I actually get my AGA this year. 😉

Set Aside 200 Items For A Yard Sale

I had planned to go though my kitchen this past week and weed out anything I didn’t think we needed for the yard sale pile but had so many other things on my plate that I didn’t get the chance.

I will start with the kitchen though as it seems the easiest place to begin.

Earn $1,493.04 {Last Year’s Grocery Expenses} Selling Totally Random Things Online

I sold a box heart shaped rocks yesterday!

Sold so far:

*Money earned selling random stuff so far $114.90

* At the end of the year I will deduct all the shipping/supply/selling fees from the grand total.

Go On a Staycation/Craftcation With The Girl

Holing up somewhere to work on crafts and ordering room service for a few days seems like a totally fun thing to strive for don’t you think? The only rule is, the hotel has to be free {presumably with credit card points.} And there will be matching flannel pajamas.

Turn The Craft Room Into a Proper Studio Space

First things first though… I have to get organized enough {and by that I mean have every pattern/kit drawn up, packaged and in stock and oodles of wool bundles dyed} before I can pull everything out of the craft room and start with the re-do.

Changes I plan on making to the space:

  • Rip out the old gross carpet and replace it with pine floors
  • Fresh paint
  • A proper light fixture
  • New serger
  • New work table
  • A sitting area with a spot to hook

Hook 100 Rugs

I’ll do a final count at the end of the month but here’s one I recently finished

Create 15 New Rug Hooking Patterns

I’m off to a good start!

New patterns I’ve added to my Etsy shop in 2023:

Grow 1,000 Pounds of Vegetables In The Commune Sized Garden

I won’t be growing anything for a few more months. 🙂

Empty The Canning Cupboard / Fill The Canning Cupboard

Note to self: Don’t make as much jam this year.

Make $500 Selling Plants, Flowers or Vegetables

The Duck Lady said I could bring any plants, flowers or vegetables to her stand and sell them there this summer. I’ll probably start with tulips or French breakfast radishes.

Buy 12 Handmade Items {From 12 Different Artists}

Hopefully I’ll have something to show you soon. 🙂

Update Every Single Recipe On The Blog To A Printable Format

Recipes updated so far: 0  This is going to be my least favorite goal but I plan I think I’ll on it start tonight and see if I can get 12 recipes updated and in a printable format by next weekend.

26 Official Date Days With My Handsome Husband

How about YOU? How are you coming along with your goals for this year? Have you made them yet? If not, HOP TO IT!!!
