This craft set is recommended for 7 and up but my preschooler and I had a great time using it together to make a shark (and with leftover Model Magic we made its… cue music… baby shark). The instructions are clear and they encourage creativity instead of inflexibility and rigid design. The tools are useful and well designed. And the animal body pieces are easy to work with – I love that it’s modular and they encourage you to create your own wild original creatures with pieces from different sets!
You could spend a lot of time making this detailed and precise or you could relax and customize it preschool-style and be happy either way!
