Spooky season is almost upon us, dear mortals!
The time has come for all of my fellow Halloween lovers to run to their nearest craft store and drool over all of the extra decorations we don't really need but definitely, absolutely want to buy!
Let's be honest, though. I have enough Halloween decorations.
But there's always room for more spooky stuff in my everyday life! Which is why today I am sharing several of my favorite fall and Halloween season items that would make for awesome gifts that are not Halloween decorations. Maybe there's a gal in your life who you want to spoil this Halloween season with some fun gifts (or maybe that's you! #treatyoself).

"Thick Thighs and Spooky Vibes" Splatter Sweatshirt
I was mindlessly scrolling through TikTok when I saw a behind-the-scenes video from Buckin' Barn showing off their newest fall sweatshirt. I swear I have NEVER clicked off a video so fast to buy something! I hadn't seen anything like this with the splatter done before, so I bought it within seconds since I knew I had to have one (and that they are pretty size-inclusive and carry up to 4X with a lot of their designs!)
I really like the vibes of this white sweatshirt with the splatter work done to it, but they also have it in black with bleach treatment if black sweatshirts are more your speed (check out their version of this sweatshirt in black on their site).

Press-On Matte Black Coffin Shaped Nails
I'll be completely honest with you--I have not gone in for a manicure or pedicure since the pandemic started. Truly. It's been more than a year since I've gone into a nail salon. Why? Because it seems like a silly reason to expose myself to the virus and frankly I've gotten more germaphobic since all of this started so I'm not in love with the idea of a stranger touching me (apologies for not including a photo--like I said, it's been a year without a manicure and my cuticles look horrific at the moment!)
With that said, I've missed having my nails done! And with fall right around the corner, I knew I had to stock up on some spooky and witchy black nails and I adore the coffin shape around this time of year!
I was able to score these matte black coffin press-on nails through Amazon Prime, and I picked up the nail glue to go with them. They are pretty affordable considering the price I would pay to go in and have acrylics done, but what's more important to me is that I don't have to leave the house to get it done and they were really easy to use!
And they work nicely for press-on nails and they are definitely of good quality!
The Nomad Eyeshadow Palette by Juvia's Place
This eyeshadow palette from Juvia's Place screams fall to me! The colorway is filled with beautiful and pigmented tones ranging from a honey shade to a deep merlot shade.
I've always had luck with Juvia's Place eyeshadow palettes and this one is no different. It comes with 9 different shades, and have created several looks with this palette that look with the same colorway in my wardrobe. I've been on a matching spree and have had a lot of fun using eyeshadows that match what I am wearing, this is palette truly has a spectrum of all the most worn fall clothes in my closet with a few exceptions.
So if you have not tried Juvia's Place eyeshadows yet, this is your sign to grab it while you can!
Bath & Body Works Pumpkin Clove Wallflower
I try not to use too much fragrance around my house because I don't want to expose Bowie to any chemicals if I can help it, but I always keep my bathroom door closed and don't allow him in there (so it's the one place where I use air fresheners every day). Adam and I each have our own separate bathrooms (highly recommend that if you are married by the way lol) and I enjoy being able to "stink the room up" with whatever scent I want without worrying if it will bother anyone.
I really like the Bath & Body Works Wallflowers since they are low-maintenance, and when I saw this Pumpkin one I knew I had to grab it! My favorite fall scent right now is the Bath & Body Works "Pumpkin Clove" which is not sweet like most fall scents and just gives off a warm and cozy vibe!
Battery Operated Jack-O-Lantern String Lights
Adam and I hang string lights above our bed and I absolutely love these Jack-O-Lantern pumpkin head strings lights from Amazon!
These lights are meant to be for the outdoors since they have waterproof lightbulbs, but we really wanted to jazz up our bedroom with these adorable pumpkins instead of using them on our patio! These run pretty long for indoor use (just shy of 10 feet long), and while there is a flickering setting we prefer to leave them on full and not blinking.
Crescent Moon Smart Table Lamp
Carrying the fall vibes into my office, I had to grab this crescent moon-shaped smart table lamp from Amazon to set the vibes while I am working and listening to music.
What I like about this smart table lamp is that I can either choose a fall color like purple or orange to display constantly, or I can connect my phone to the lamp with Bluetooth and the lamp will change colors with the beat of the music I am listening to! While moons aren't exactly exclusive to fall, I love being able to listen to some spooky trap music bounce with the light from my moon lamp while I am responding to emails. It's definitely a fall vibe!
Halloween Throw Blanket
I was able to pick up this throw blanket at my local Marshalls store, and if you're headed there and are looking for it this blanket is called an "Envogue Essentials Super Soft Oversized Throw."
There are loads of cute throw blankets really similar to this one that would make for such a fun fall gift. I would suggest searching for keywords like "ouija throw blanket" or even "witch throw blanket" or "Halloween symbol throw blanket."
