Father’s Day is upon us (19 June) and if you haven’t made plans yet, we’ve got you covered! Kennedy Town craft beer bar and restaurant GRAIN has put together an ultimate comforting family roast menu with two hours of unlimited starters, side dishes, dessert and one main course. The options for mains include: slow-roasted Te Mana Lamb shoulder with a stout molasses glaze, served with brewers beans and portobello mushrooms on the side; and roasted Rangers Valley M5 Wagyu tri-tip with stout beer-braised ox cheek and aubergine fritters. Yum! The menu is available from 12pm to 5pm on Father’s Day, 19 June. It’s priced at $360 per person, or add $230 for a free-flow craft beer selection and prosecco.

Father's Day dining and gift ideas - GRAIN Bottomless Brunch with Roast

Musubi Hiro

Celebrate the Hero of the Day at Musubi Hiro, Central’s izakaya-inspired gastropub. The special brunch menu on 19 June will feature much-loved crowd favourites plus special concoctions and one-day-only surprise dishes dedicated to dads. Plus, all fathers who dine at the lively gastropub for brunch or dinner on the day will get a LAIBA cocktail of their choice as a gift. Oh, and you also get to have a crack at a beer-chugging competition! The fastest dad will take home the “holy grail” as a trophy: a Musubi Hiro Guzzler Helmet! Dads who don’t fare so well with the drinking competition can try their hand with cocktail blind tastings, with all winners receiving an exclusive gift set from LAIBA to end the day on a high note.

Meat-loving dads will feel right at home at Deadly Rabbits Concepts’ newest concept Porkcentric, a Central European restaurant with a nose-to-tail focus on – you guessed it! – pork. (Did you know, by the way, that pork is the world’s most commonly consumed meat?) You’ll also find craft beers from around the world. To celebrate Father’s Day, Porkcentric is firing up a special Duroc Porterhouse Pork Steak ($498) in their Josper charcoal grill, served with duck fat confit and buttered root vegetables. To show their gratitude to the fathers of HK, each dad will get a $100 dining voucher for any Ask for Alonzo location.

Father's Day dinners - Porkcentric

The Hari

The Hari Hong Kong has treats galore for dads this Father’s Day, starting with an exclusive set dinner menu at Zoku (17-19 June). Priced at $888 per person, it includes main options such as Kagoshima wagyu steak and Aussie lobster. Just across from Zoku, The Terrace is hosting dads for a cigar and sake pairing session on 16 June (6.30-9.30pm; $788). Guests can sample two premium cigars, including the famed Joya de Nicaragua Antano, one of the top 50 cigars in the world, along with four sakes in a variety of styles. Appetizers such as pork belly bao and wasabi prawns will also be served.

Meanwhile, the hotel’s chic and charming Lucciola has a Father’s Day set dinner of modern Italian creations by Chef Francesco Gava. After a fresh selection of seafood for sharing, there’s a minestrone highlighted by 36-months aged Parmigiano cheese, an optional pasta dish featuring Alaskan king crab, and a choice of La Cotoletta Alla Milanese “Orecchia di Elefante” – a large breaded, pan-fried, milk-fed veal cutlet on the bone – or Orata di Orbetello in Crosta di Sale, Mediterranean sea bream in a salt crust. There are delicious signature desserts too. Available 17-19 June at $1,188 for two people.

Modern Australian restaurant HUE Dining, with its unforgettable views of Victoria Harbour, has a refined three-course menu this Father’s Day, on 19 June. After the likes of beef tartare with roasted bone marrow, a lobster and celeriac salad, or grilled white asparagus for appetisers, there are main options including cod with Iberico chorizo and a Jack Daniels onion confit; pigeon cooked in a hay crust;; Japanese pumpkin and ricotta ravioli topped with black truffle; and slow-cooked Angus beef short ribs. Plus French profiteroles, Catalan cream or hot lava chocolate tart to finish! The three-course lunch menu is $780 per person, with seating options at 11.30 am and 1.45 pm. Add $360 for free-flow Taittinger Brut Reserve champagne, 10 premium red and white wine choices, and Hue’s popular Bloody Mary.

Father's Day dining - Hue - Angus Beef


Zuma is adding a sophisticated twist on its iconic weekend brunch so you can show appreciation to the most important man in your life. The Father’s Day Brunch, priced from $998 per person, it taking place on 19 June 2022 (from 11am), with a feast that kicks off with unlimited Japanese delicacies such as sushi, sashimi, maki rolls, yakitori, tempura and more, before continuing with a choice of mains. You’ll have three limited-time upgrade options to choose from, if you fancy, including an incredible 1kg Australian Wagyu T-Bone Steak (add $1,288), Grilled Taraba Crab with Lime Ponzu Butter ($320) and Iberico Pork with Yuzu Koshu and Truffle Sauce ($180) to pair with the 2.5 hours of free-flow champagne. There are different price points for the brunch, from the Signature ($998) all the way up to the Premium ($2,288); it’s $350 for children aged four to ten years.

Reservations for 19 June are now open at select Pirata Group restaurants, where you can treat the King of the Household to a special feast washed down with his favourite free-flow. Among them is Soho smokehouse MEATS, where protein-loving dad can enjoy a smorgasbord of choice cuts at a special Father’s Day Brunch. Along with signature dishes like Fish Tacos, Duck Salad, Chicken Liver Pate and Wagyu Carpaccio, there’s a featured main exclusively for fathers: a grilled 200g rump steak with truffle butter, roasted garlic and potato – with other delicious choices available too. The meal ends with Meats Molten Cake (“M.M.C.”), a chocolate treat with ice cream and raspberry coulis. The brunch costs $348 per person, with free-flow for $198.
