Guerrilla Collective Day 1 Unleashes a Plethora of Trailers
This morning’s Guerrilla Collective showcase featured new trailers and announcements on a ton of indie games from the Collective’s large partnership of indie developers and small publishers. The Guerrilla Collective’s festivities will continue for the next two days, but the Day One showcase is where all the big news announcements were expected to hit. And the showcase certainly didn’t disappoint. We have new updates on Baldur’s Gate 3, System Shock, and even Disco Elysium.
The showcase was streamed on twitch, and can be watched in full courtesy of IGN’s YouTube channel.
The first big announcement of the showcase came via a new trailer for System Shock. The trailer features alpha footage from the highly anticipated remake, and promises that we’ll soon be getting a playable demo of the game.
The next trailer of the showcase focused on HeadUp Games’ Cardaclysm which is a card battle game in development for Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The card game pits players against the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in a procedurally generated ccg that mixes action-rpg elements with more familiar card battle mechanics. And Headup Games promises Cardaclysm won’t have microtransactions.

Almighty Kill Your Gods will be coming to Windows, Mac, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch so that you can kill various gods, demons, and monsters. Almighty is an action RPG that can be played solo or with up to four friends, sort of like Monster Hunter, except you mostly use your slain foes to rebuild your home rather than craft new armor and weapons.
The modern day tale of courage and adventure, Roki, will be launching on July 23, 2020 for Windows and Nintendo Switch.
The point and click adventure game Genesis Noir is a noir-style adventure set before, during, and after the Big Bang. Naturally, players will be able to explore black holes, primordial Earth, and even Jazz clubs. Genesis Noir will be launching on Windows, Mac, and Xbox One.

If your favorite thing about Death Stranding was delivering packages, you’ll absolutely adore Lake, which has you delivering mail in Providence Oaks, Oregon circa 1986 as mail carrier Meredith Weiss. Lake will release on Windows, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Urban Trial Tricky is a Switch game designed around pulling off incredible, gravity defying motocross tricks using freestyle, breakdance, and FMX moves to complete various challenges.
Indie darling Boyfriend Dungeon also revealed a new gameplay trailer during the Guerrilla Collective showcase, so you can get a better idea of how your various weapons turn into potential boyfriends.

Rigid Force Redux is a classic shoot-em up in 3D, where players face off against hordes of infected aliens and machines programmed to wage an intergalactic war against mankind. So, it should feel pretty familiar to most gamers, but that’s its charm. Rigid Force Redux launched earlier this month on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Outbuddies DX is a metroidvania title from HeadUp Games that features ancient gods, strange creatures, and the remains of a lost civilization. The game is available today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3 is currently scheduled to hit Early Access in August of this year, assuming everything goes to plan on the development side. The announcement was accompanied by a brand new trailer, of course.
Disco Elysium is now on the Epic Games Store for those who would rather prefer to keep their PC library on Epic rather than Steam.
Join the styling undead cowboys of West of Dead on Steam when the twin-stick shooter launches on June 18, 2020 for Windows and Mac. The game will also be releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The new, graphic enhancements of Dwarf Fortress also received a highlight trailer during the Guerrilla Collective, with a walkthrough by developer Tarn Adams.
3D action adventure title Valheim will be getting a beta release soon, so prospective players can start enjoying the Norse-inspired world ahead of launch.
Ultrakill is an indie shooter in the style of the original DOOM games, complete with demonic hordes, a preponderance of skulls, and maybe even a pentagram or two. And it has a demo version available now.
11bit Studios showed off a few new characters dropping as a free DLC for Children of Morta. Meanwhile, the final update to Frostpunk will launch this summer, which takes players back in time to before the apocalyptic frost.
Dusk is a retro FPS title inspired by classic 90s shooters like the original DOOM and Wolfenstein, except this time you’re taking on backwater cultists, possessed militants, and whatever dark forces are controlling them. Dusk will release on Windows for PC.
Fights in Tight Spaces is exactly what it sounds like, and the game takes obvious clues from the John Wick franchise as well as popular indie games like Superhot. The game is currently planned for release on Windows and possibly a console or two.
The monochrome side-scroller Liberated will be released next month on Steam for Windows PC.

Haven is a 3D JRPG with an absolutely arresting art style where you play as a couple in a mysterious land. The game combines open-world JRPG design with 2D dating-sim elements to spice things up.
Gonner 2 is a sequel to Gonner and will be launching later this year. This time around, Ikk has been hired by Death to take down a mysterious presence that has taken over her home.
Just Die Already is an upcoming Steam indie game by a developer who wishes Hideo Kojima would unblock their number. The announcement trailer spoofed the infamous Death Stranding announcement, so all we really have to go on is the art style and the game’s Old People Mayhem Sandbox subtitle. Which could honestly mean anything.
