International Strange Music Day
International Strange Music Day
International Strange Music Day is a day to listen to new types of music. We all have our favorite music, but this day encourages us to listen to a new genre and appreciate different types of music. Here are some ways to celebrate this day with your Scouting program.
Ideas for International Strange Music Day
- Have every den bring a sample of their favorite type of music to listen to. Have a dance party!
- Sing a new song at your next Scouting meeting. See my songs page
- Check out this Cub Scout Song Book sent in by a fellow Scouter.
- Sing something from this book of classic campfire songs
What are your ideas for introducing youth to new music through Scouting? Add them to the comments below.
