Pumpkin Centerpiece
Make a DIY Fall pumpkin centerpiece in under 10 minutes. Easy Fall home decor perfect for your dining room table or Fall wedding.
Fall is in the air. Which means it’s time to decorate. I was at the craft store the other day and saw a small floral pumpkin. The idea was cute but the execution looked a little cheap. So I decided to DIY my own pumpkin centerpiece with flowers. This DIY took only 10 minutes and it’s perfect for a Fall table setting for a Fall wedding or Thanksgiving dinner on your dining table.

For Fall I tend to lean towards less traditional colors which is why I chose to make a white pumpkin centerpiece. My Fall décor color scheme is a combination of teals and green but I wanted some orange accents with the faux florals I picked. These hollow white pumpkins can be found at most craft stores.

While I chose to use faux florals you can easily add a vase or mason jar to the pumpkin and do an arrangement of fresh flowers for a beautiful centerpiece.
How do you make a pumpkin centerpiece?
It really is as easy as cutting a hole around the stem of a hollow pumpkin. Then you can add in your flowers. Faux flowers work great but you can also add in a vase (if the pumpkin is tall enough) and real flowers.
Supply List
- Hallow Faux Pumpkin
- Serrated Knife
- Faux Flowers
Step One
Using a sharp serrated knife cut around your pumpkin stem on the top of the pumpkin. Make sure the hole is wide enough to fit your flower arrangement. I got this hollow pumpkin at Michaels store but you can find them at most craft stores.
Step Two (optional)
Add in a vase or mason jar, with water, if you are going to be using fresh flowers. You can also use floral foam.
Step Three
Now you are ready to add your flowers. I got these small bouquets at Michaels. I liked that the had a realistic look and the colors were a nod to Fall or Autumn but a little bite softer. I also grabbed some teal thistles to tie into the rest of my decor. I used eucalyptus I had on hand as additional filler.
Trim your floral pieces at different heights. Using florals with different heights and textures will give your centerpiece visual interest. It will also make it look more realistic if you are using faux florals.
You can easily make a bunch of these Fall centerpieces for a larger event. I used a faux pumpkin to last throughout the season but these Fall pumpkin centerpieces can be made with real pumpkins.
