Zuru is celebrating a ‘fantastic response’ to its Itty Bitty Prettys Tea Party Surprise range with strong pre-orders and initial sales across the globe as it prepares to debut the new range to audiences with a global virtual Tea Party this weekend.
On Saturday, August 8th, fans will be able to watch their favourite influencers host tea parties as they host their own across YouTube and Instagram. Zuru will be hosting a big reveal of Itty Bitty Prettys during its World Tea Party in which YouTube and TikTok influencers around the world will celebrate inclusivity, encourage kindness, and discover Itty Bitty Prettys.
The new range combines a modern take on traditional tea party and doll play with the highly sought-after surprise and collectability factor. The range spans the punk rock look, unicorn princesses, and classic ballerinas through a squad of collectable fashion-forward characters of all backgrounds.
The range includes 13 Itty Bittys, plus one super rare Royal Tea doll. Itty Bitty Prettys Tea Party Surprise includes surprise magic tea bags and fizzing sugar cubes that, when mixed with water reveal jewellery, accessories and other surprise necessities to help dress and style an Itty Bitty Prettys dolls and host a party.
“We’ve had a fantastic response to pre-orders and initial sales across all territories,” said Renee Lee, VP global marketing, Zuru. “Itty Bitty Prettys Tea Party Surprise brings together a host of experiences including dress up and classic role-play, collectability and swapping, rich unboxing, as well as craft and creative elements.
“We want to celebrate the excitement and fun of a tea party by encouraging family and friends to get together – albeit in a virtual environment – with the opportunity for all to join in. Attendees can come along and get ideas for their own tea parties, whether virtual or physical – depending upon current climate social distancing restrictions.
“It’s available for anyone to join in – parents and children can watch their favourite influencers host tea parties and host their own across YouTube and Instagram. We’re really looking forward to hosting our first world tea party with more to follow.”
The range will be distributed on the UK via Tobar.
