Beautiful, organic cotton knitwear from Jaggery London

I have recently been introduced to Jaggery London, a conscious knitwear brand creating beautiful layering pieces from soft, organic cotton. The knitwear is made fairly & ethically in a knitting workshop in Auroville, South India. All pieces are made using a 100% natural organic Indian cotton that is responsibly sourced and dyed with azo-free dyes (even the buttons are made from seashells – no plastic!).

They make hand-knitted pieces for both kids and women, including jumpers, cardigans, dresses, trousers, and other accessories — all very wearable, comfortable, soft and easy to layer. In the photos above, Marlow and I are wearing the lightweight fine-knit dress, which is perfect for our current mild winter weather. I also really love the selection of hand-knit jumpers — the cropped Delia jumper and the Pablo jumper are two of my favourites. But really they’re all so beautiful! I’m thinking about ordering the sleeveless Chico top for our upcoming summer — how pretty is it!

I also love the thoughtfulness that goes into their packaging. All Jaggery goods are wrapped in a 100% organic cotton furoshiki-style wrap (which can be reused as a face towel, head scarf, gift wrap, etc…) and then posted to you in a recyclable cardboard box. No plastic packaging used at all.

Check out the Jaggery website to see all their beautiful pieces. They also ship worldwide!
