Nothing beats a tee and jeans topped with a leather jacket

It’s my go-to look year round, but I find myself styling the look most during the fall. And I’ve worn so many iterations of the look, but keep it fresh with changing up the accessories.

For this look, simple all black aviators and black cap was all I needed with a Queen Elizabeth graphic tee and distressed jeans. Read on for some of my favorite accessory picks:
The Best Hats
I love a hat. They serve a vital function in my life: cover up my bad (mostly dirty) hair days. My favorites are wide brim wool hats and slouchy beanies, but I’m starting to experiment more with other hat types.

My favorite beanies are the knit versions by Free People. They’re so slouchy and comfortable. Another great option are these slouchy beanies that come in a ton of colors for $19.

If the Lack of Color wide brim hats are outside your budget, this style from Urban Outfitters is so similar and just $44 (and comes in a ton of colors.)

I also love a great beret, recently buying a camel color beret from Retail Therapy–still a few colors left there or purchase online.
Top Sunglasses to Shop
Sunglasses are my favorite accessory year round–they cover up my squinty, half-opened eyes in a photo and can completely change up a look (not to mention protect your eyes from the sun, of course.)

I’ve been wearing almost exclusively Quay Australia sunglasses since I love the styles and price. If you live in the Lansing area, you can shop this line at Retail Therapy or shop my favorite styles like the one I’m wearing here and the round aviator style. I also like the BP line of sunglasses at Nordstrom like this round mottled pair for $19 or these $19 oversized aviators similar to what I’m wearing.
Hair Accessories
I love this pack of resin and pearl clips–a great variety for just $7. If you’re into headbands, I love this set of six head bands–all perfect fall colors! Just $12.
Scarves + Cold Weather Accessories
It’s almost time to start bundling up a bit more as we’re half way through October in Michigan. Snow could truly happen at any moment.

Target scarves are some of my favorites–they have the best blanket scarves and they’re priced well. This plaid scarf is just $17 and this super soft grey scarf is also $17. But of course this Free People rib knit blanket scarf is my top choice (and comes in many colors.) For another super chunky scarf option, this one comes in five colors, but beige is my favorite.Magnolia Pearl tee and Lack of Color hat from Retail Therapy | jeans by Levi’s | mules by Gucci | leather jacket by All Saints
