This year fashion has taken a back seat for many
But STYLE has not. I am of the mind that fashion is what we do for others, and style is what we do for ourselves.
I put this list together with the ‘style enthusiast’ in mind. Someone who is not trying to communicate their taste to the outside world, but rather reveling in the items they love, wearing them, enjoying them while at home for the holidays, working, cooking, child-rearing, dog-walking and doing everyday life. Maybe some items on this list are for you (many are for me, haha), or maybe they will help you as you shop for your mom, BFF, sister or someone else.
This is my final gift guide, I hope you enjoy it!
1 – MONSTERA 4 LEAF WALL HANGING – This brass wall art would brighten up almost any room! I am not sure which I like better, this one or the 6 leaf version. Made in Portland.
2 – ACNE STUDIOS SCARF – Want to give a hug for Christmas? I know I already said something on this list was a hug, but this scarf takes the cake! This one is short and wide (instead of long and skinny), and putting it on is like wearing a warm hug all day long!
3 – HOLLOW HOOPS – These are most likely my most worn earrings. They are statement-making but simple and ultra lightweight. I love how thick they are. Note: Bagatiba usually has great Black Friday sales!
4 – CAMERA BAG – And not the kind that holds an actual camera, but instead a cute, compact bag in black, pebbled leather. I have a similar one from this brand and it truly does not age. Super classic and chic. Great for hands free walks.
5 – CUSTOM CUFF – I’ve shared this one with you guys a zillion times, but it’s only because I love it! I wear mine 24/7. It would make a great friendship bracelet, or bracelet with the initials of kiddos or even a couple.
6 – AIR POET TEE – Is it a blouse? Or a t-shirt? I love this crossover shirt because it looks like a perfect blend of practical and whimsical.
7 – LOOP BERET – I’m a big fan of the nubby fabric on this hand-crafted beret. It’s 65% wool so it’s sure to be warm, and it’s 35% recycled nylon so it’s sure to be soft. Made in Portland.
8 – RESIN COMB + TRAY SETS – Could these be any prettier? A great way to make part of your daily routine a little more aesthetically pleasing. You can buy as a set, or just the tray to catch your jewelry at the end of the day. Made in Portland, restock coming November 24th.
9 – FANCY BLACK BELT – I love the look of this belt, particularly the gold buckle. I think it would add a touch of style to whatever it’s worn with (picture: black blazer or oversized chunky cardigan). There is another style worth checking out here.
10 – POM BEANIE – Fun and a little unexpected. Perfect for dressing up the plainest of winter coats.
11 – DESERT TRAVEL MUG – LOVE this. I immediately put it on my Christmas list, and sent it to my husband. ;) Made in Los Angeles.
12 – STRIPED PAJAMA PANTS – Because having cute PJ’s is underrated. These are made from extra soft modal and they have pockets!
13 – SHACKET – If I was going to buy a shacket this year, it would probably be this one. I love that it is 80% wool (hello warmth) and has an optional belt!
